It's been 2 weeks now and you can't never have her back. LOL I have named her Gail. Here she is with 6-year old Danny, part Doberman who was rescued by a wonderful lady in Oklahoma. He's with me since September 2011. Danny and Gail are wonderful pals. Gail typically nudges him to start playing and he reciprocates and they tumble out in to the yard for an hour or two. They play really hard. Beautiful sight. She also plays like that with my neighbor's GSD.
Danny's very good about responding to me. Gail's learning. She seems to follow his example. She's kinda 50% in responding when alone and still 50% stubborn, like you said Laurie.
As you warned me, Gail has an incredible stretch and everything becomes a toy, especially when I'm not home. I keep moving everything to higher ground and so far has not destroyed anything too important.
She plays real hard all day long and then collapses at night. She usually makes wierd noises at night, besides her snoring and snorting, not very lady-like. LOL The 2 of them immediately sense when i'm heading for bed and beat me to it, stretch out all over the place, and won't budge while i try to squeeze in.
Beautiful dogs. terrible to think anyone would see fit to destroy them. Keep up the good work. JB
