Initially we were putting our transports under our In The News page but it ended up getting too full. Our older ones are still there but from now on, they will have their own separate page :) If you are interested in volunteering for transports, please contact us. Each person drives about an hour to an hour and a half and hands off to the next driver. That's how we are able to save the dogs we do from GA, SC, NC, VA, TN etc.

This was an emergency transport set up just for Luke. He was initially adopted in VA but it didn't work out. So we had to arrange for him to make his way up to NJ. Here are some photos from his journey from VA to NJ. Notice the magnets on the vehicles made by Luke's foster mom in VA!! They are awesome! If you are interested in making one, Samantha can send you detailed instructions on how to do so.
Here are some great videos of Luke on his transport!!
And some more photos, if you have facebook.

This transport was for Misty, Star & Luke. Luke is sweet husky rescued from a kill shelter in TN. He is such a special boy but you can tell he had a terrible past and is very skiddish. He is being adopted in VA so he will be getting off in Harrisonburg, VA. Misty & Star were two puppies of 13 who were rescued by an awesome man in TN who, when he found out that the shelter they were in was going to euthanize all the puppies because of kennel cough, he went to get them ALL!!! Star is a St Bernard puppy and Misty is a spitz mix puppy. So far, our rescue has placed 2 of them, other rescues have placed 5 of them. Six are still remaining and you can see them on our site. If you are interested in adopting them, please let us know. They are Riley, Rose, Jax, Coco, Iva & Alonzo. Here are some pictures from Luke, Star & Misty's transport.

On this transport we had Cailee, Rebel & Walter. Cailee is a stunning silver husky who was rescued from a kill shelter in NC. Rebel was gorgeous red & white husky rescued from life on a chain in NC. And Walter, the jack russell mix, was going to be turned into a gassing shelter if a rescued didn't step up for him! Walter is available for adoption if you are interested. Here are some photos from their journey to NJ.

This transport was for Jayden, Dusty & Sierra. Jayden is a husky that we rescued from a high kill shelter in TN. Such a sweet girl!! And Dusty & Sierra were littermates whose Daddy was a traveling musician and wasn't able to spend enough time with them as he was always away. He made the difficult decision to find them a better home. We found them a home together and they are happy as can be!! Here are some photos from their journey.

This Independence Day Run was for one very special boy. We named him Sole because there was a gassing shelter in NC and every single dog was pulled except for one!!! So we couldn't let that happen. So we rescued him and named him Sole for the sole one remaining. Here are some photos from his transport.

Samantha set up transport for Kaya, Bella & Tasche. Kaya is a beautiful 4 year old husky who's owner was going to let her go in the woods because they couldn't care for her!! Of course, we couldn't let that happen so we found her a wonderful home and had her transported up. Bella is a gorgeous 8 month old kuvasz who was going to be turned into Gaston, a gassing shelter but a concerned neighbor tried desperately to find her a home before that happened. She brought her to every vet in town until one vet she brought her to called us. We took her before she was turned into the shelter. Tasche was picked out by one of our adopters from the links we have under Our Available Pets page of kill shelters that we pull from. She is an amazing doberman/husky/shepherd ? mix. See the pics from their transport below.

Samantha set up transport for Jackson & Sophie who were transported to NJ from Murfreesboro, TN to loving adoptive homes! Jackson, a newfoundland mix was rescued by a fellow rescuer in TN who asked us if we could help her find a home for him. She wasn't having much luck out there and had had Jackson for over a year. We put him up on our site and found him the perfect home!! Sophie was a young husky puppy from Dalton, GA who needed someone to spend the time she needed to train her as she was very mouthy and where she was living with 2 young children wasn't the best environment for her. Her parents had to get rid of her and we found someone who could spend the time needed with her!! Here are the pics from their transport from TN.

Samantha coordinated another tranport for Laska, Little John & Roxy. Laska, who most of you all know because of him getting lost after being in foster for 3 days with his potential adopter is most likely going to be adopted by Samantha. He is a very special boy and was also rescued from Gaston Animal Control in Dallas, NC. Laska is high heartworm positive and is extremely afraid of most people, especially men! Who knows what this poor boy went through but he is living the grand ole life and being spoiled to no end! Here are some pictures from his transport. Thanks to everyone who got him here safely!! Little John, a chow mix who was also rescued from Gaston joined him on this transport along with Roxy who needed a ride up to her aunts house for the summer while her mommy worked. The first picture is of Laska in Gaston.
