The Last Resort Animal Rescue

Hi Whitney, We are having a lovely summer, hope you are too! Thanks for your email. There are no words to express how in love we are with Vicki! And to think, I was actually intimidated by her the first night you brought her to us. She just needed someone to love and understand her. She is actually a very gentle girl - we call her the gentle giant. And, she's fabulous with Jacob! I wish I could save them all, but am so glad if I can only save one for the time it's her. Every morning she comes running upstairs after she's had her breakfast with a great big tail wag to give me kisses. Every morning she expresses her gratitude. She's wonderful! Thought I'd share another photo. Three weeks ago we took all three fur-babies and Jakey to the Outer Banks. Here's a pic of Vic and Xavier cuddling at the beach house :) They are buddies. My mom rescues Shelties. She currently has 4 (only one is a foster, she's adopted the rest) and a Chihuahua. Because she rescues older Shelties they usually come to stay in her home. Hope all is well with the rescue, I see you have a lot of exciting things going on. Since I can't come to the events I am always sure to participate in those you have online.
