Chloe is our baby! She is so cute and so good. She fits right into our family. She is so funny...no matter what we are doing at 8:15 she goes to bed. It works out great because we go to bed around 9. lol. We have taught her to give us her paws, stand up, sit, lay, stop, stay, high five, fetch, come and play dead. She also learned in 2 days to ring "poochie bells" at the door to ask to go out. She gained a few pounds from the extra treats so now we being very selective. I guess the corgi in her can get chubby- they been going right to her backside-typical female. lol She is brilliant though! She loves to lay in the sun and can stay outside napping in the warmth for hours. In the house, she finds the sun spot from our skylights and lays in it. She is great with all the kids that come and go out of my house. Doesn't care too much for other dogs especially female but we are working on that as everyone has dogs in my neighborhood. She was hiding all her food around the house and now she stopped so I guess she trusts us. Attached are some pics of Chloe sporting her leopard collar and of course she has a matching leash. Thank you so much for pointing us in the right direction. Ryan LOVES her and in the middle of all the testing we have been doing with him, she is a great distraction for all of us!
Where do I even start. Lisa has been a crucial member of our team since the beginning. Started out as our staff nursemaid, fostering pregnant mommies and birthing multiple litters of puppies. She quickly evolved into an essential part of the rescue's core. She is involved in various local rescue efforts. Our local expert in tracking, trapping and capturing lost, scared or escaped dogs. A true advocate for local dogs and a true rescue warrior. We would not be where we are without Lisa!!!
Linda adopted her dog Mickey from our rescue many years ago. After learning about our rescue efforts she wanted to help. She is a long time volunteer with The Last Resort. Linda is our fundraising coordinator and works very hard orchestrating fundraising events that enable us to continue saving more lives. Linda loves to create new and different fundraising ideas. She prefers to get hands on with the dogs and loves the events where our adoptable dogs can attend, helping them get the much needed exposure they need to find their forever homes.

Marissa is A rock star ! Aside from a legal career and a busy mom, Marissa has fostered so many dogs for our rescue. She opens her own home many weekends to manage and facilitate transports with dogs arriving from other states so that they can meet their new foster and forever homes here in NJ. Marissa Is also our volunteer legal council. Her 2 daughters, rescuers in the making help her with the dogs and rescue projects!! We are lucky to have her on our team and appreciate ALL that she does for us and the dogs !!
