We could not be happier with our rescue, Seneca. She has totally completed our pack and we only have The Last Resort Rescue to thank. You guys are amazing!!!

The other day at Walmart, I saw somebody wearing a Last Resort Animal Rescue T-Shirt and wanted to check the site out. And, I have to say, this site is great! I love the fact that you go down south and rescue the dogs in high kill shelters. The dog I currently own, came from a high kill shelter in NC and the rescue organization that took her to long island, rescued her within hours of being put in the gas chamber -- i can't imagine my life w/o this dog. I love her to death! Keep up the good work. I wish I could foster but, my dog doesn't get along well w/ other dogs. Seems like a great organization -- seems like a great organization to be a part of.

I am helping my Mother adopt a new furry friend and we would really like to adopt an animal in danger. Just waiting to be approved. I hope we can help one of your precious little dogs. xo

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let everyone know that it has been a month now since we brought home our Chip and we couldn't be happier! He is the most sweetest dog in the world and just fits in perfectly with our family. I want to especially thank Donna & Joe, his foster parents, for doing such a wonderful job with him and getting him ready to come to his new permanent home!

I will Sam, once he wakes up. He is a little tired from his run. Today was his first 6 mile run. He did great! Only a few squirrel incidents, including Trevor climbing halfway up a tree after one.

It's a small world! While running today at Saddle River Park with Trevor, I met a man walking with his 2 rescues........ and guess what? One he adopted about 7 weeks ago from The Last Resort Rescue!

Thank you Donna and everyone at The Last Resort! Sprocket (now Rocco) moved in yesterday and we could not be happier. We are in "puppy love"! He is amazing the kids, the cats & the adults. I was a little bit worried about introducing him to the house yesterday since we had some commotion (a lot more than usual) but he took to our family instantly. Of course, he was quite concerned when Donna walked away & did cry for her. Clearly, he was taken care of very well & we appreciate that he was rescued by The Last Resort so that we could give him his forever home.

Was up in Wyckoff, NJ at my cousins final dress fitting for her wedding. I had my 7 year old daughter with me. We decided to head into Boulder Run for some lunch and we saw your pet adoption event happening at Pet Valu. Ella (my daughter) asked if we could go by and we did. We spotted an adorable pup who caught my eye. I've submitted an application with hopes that we'll be able to give him a forever home. I have rescued 2 dogs before and I always say there is nothing in the world like a rescued pet. Sam, you and your volunteers were so friendly and kind. I commend your efforts to save these animals from horrible gas chambers. I sincerely hope we can make one of your rescued animals part of our family.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! We are loving our new pups! Benson and Devin are adjusting much better than we had thought to our crazy house Donna and Laurie we cannot thank you enough. These dogs must have had a great life with you guys before they came to live with us.
