I adopted the sweetest boy from The Last Resort in May 2010...we have since relocated to California and Toby (formerly Jimmie) loves living here!

Recently I fostered 3 puppies, working with Samantha and Nancy was amazing. These ladies really care about what they are doing and were a huge help to me. I thought I was an organized person.........Samantha is so incredible at making sure everyone knew what was going on . Hope to foster again for you in the future.

Recently I fostered 3 puppies, working with Samantha and Nancy was amazing. These ladies really care about what they are doing and were a huge help to me. I thought I was an organized person.........Samantha is so incredible at making sure everyone knew what was going on . Hope to foster again for you in the future.

I was getting gas at the Hess Station and I saw your home page. I live in Fairfield. I do work a full time job, and I don't have an SUV. You are doing great work for the animals. I would to donate, maybe buy some wine, and come visit your place on day. I have done Volunteer work in Morris County.

I just wanted to let you know that I am on this website almost every day. I look at the "Our Available Dogs", not because I am looking to adopt another dog but I am so happy when I see Adoption Pending. Then I look at the pictures and posts on HAPPY TAILS. I see what a wonderful life these dogs are living and how much they are loved.

It?s been less than two weeks since we brought Milton home. He is the nicest, sweetest, best dog that we could have ever hoped for. He has already brought such joy to our lives and we?re looking forward to many happy years ahead with him.
You do such a difficult job. There are so many animals that people abandon and it?s impossible to help them all. We weren?t looking for another dog but we are so happy we are able to help give him a happy life. Thank you for rescuing Milton for us.
He had strawberry ice cream last night. He likes it at his forever home.

We just sold our house in Hewitt and I have a free standing dog pen (6x8...I think). It's in decent shape. Could you use this? Or do you happen to know anyone who could benefit from this. Please contact me asap. Thank you.

Hello Samantha and everyone at the last resort. The people at the last resort are wonderful, they have been helping save dogs being abused here in York, Pa. I have been wanting to make a donation but I had to recover from when my cat got very sick. Well this is the only way I knew how to say thanks, you do not know what it meant to me having you by my side.---Sandy
